Young Adults (YA) is the youth programme of Krist Kiran Parivar (KKP), a Catholic covenant community in Pune. KKP is a part of the worldwide Sword of the Spirit (SOS) communities.
Many Catholic youth have felt the need to know more about their faith and grow with other Christians. YA fills that need! Fun and faith go together for our thirty youth members between the ages of 13 to 30. We meet together regularly to follow Christ through daily personal prayer, bible study, sacraments, music, song, teachings, fellowship, outreach and service. We belong to the family of Krist Kiran Parivar, where older Christian couples and families encourage and help us.
Each youth belongs to a small cell group in which they are able to encourage one another in their walk with the Lord.. and of course have lots of fun! Some of the recent YA activities are retreats, camps, households, Encounter Jesus programme, outreaches to orphanages and old age homes, etc. We also have different ministries within the YA- the music team, the newsletter team, the intercession team, the service team and the hospitality team.
